Academy of Kuchipudi Dance

A nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and presenting the classical Indian dance form Kuchipudi through instruction, performances, and community events. Sasikala Penumarthi, Artistic Director of the Academy received the 2025 Georgia Governor’s Award for Arts and Humanities. The award recognizes and honors individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the civic and cultural vitality of the state.
